WATER IS LIFE TEE

15% of Indigenous communities throughout Canada are on a boil advisory. This means they do not have clean drinking water in their homes. They must boil their water before drinking it. In Ontario alone that number jumps up to 35%. 

I am Mohawk, and my family is from Tyendinaga reserve. I partnered with a local artist Tsiokeriio (Diio) Hagen (@tsiokeriio.artist) from the area to design this logo that represents the advisory they have been on for the past 14 years.

Canada is a first world country, and yet we have allowed our Indigenous communities to not have access to something as basic as water. This is unacceptable and absolutely ridiculous. These shirts are designed to bring awareness to a topic many do not realize is happening.

50% of the proceeds from these shirts and sweaters will be donated to WATER FIRST. 

This non profit organization is one that is striving to truly make an impact while respecting the Indigenous community. 

All Bizzy Mama & Co. tees are UNISEX sizing. They run larger than your typical women’s shirts and are true to size for men.

Kids sizes fit true to size, but it is always best to size up so it lasts them longer.

We recommend for women ordering your normal size for a loose - boyfriend fit, or SIZE DOWN for a more fitted look. For men order your normal size.

If you find yourself between sizes, most people are happy sizing up.
